01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the UHURU website, mobile application, voice-activated beverage system, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

UHURU reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the UHURU app.

02 Products & Services

UHURU designs and sells voice-activated wellness beverage systems and companion subscription tiers. Our current product and service offerings include:

Product specifications, pricing, and availability are subject to change. UHURU reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or limit product offerings at any time without prior notice.

03 Pre-Orders & Deposits

UHURU may accept pre-orders for upcoming products. Pre-orders require a refundable deposit of $20, which will be applied to the final purchase price. Your final balance is charged 30 days before your unit ships.

Deposits are fully refundable at any time before the final balance is charged. To request a refund, contact our support team or cancel through your UHURU account dashboard. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

A pre-order does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Estimated ship dates are provided in good faith and may be adjusted due to production timelines.

04 Subscriptions

UHURU offers three subscription tiers: UHURU Core (free with hardware), UHURU+ ($39/mo or $390/yr), and UHURU Total ($79/mo or $790/yr). Paid subscriptions auto-renew on a monthly or annual billing cycle. By subscribing, you authorize UHURU to charge your payment method at each billing cycle until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' notice. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial-month or partial-year refunds will be issued. Upon cancellation of a paid tier, your account will revert to UHURU Core (free).

UHURU Total subscribers receive a monthly shipment of wellness compounds (adaptogens, sleep aids, gut health, focus, immunity). These shipments are included in the subscription fee and cease upon cancellation.

Beverage concentrates (coffee, tea, cream, sugar) are purchased à la carte separately from the subscription tiers and are not subject to subscription cancellation terms.

UHURU may adjust subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before it takes effect.

05 Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is due at the time of purchase for products and at each billing cycle for subscriptions. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods as displayed at checkout.

FSA/HSA payments are accepted for eligible wellness products. It is your responsibility to verify eligibility with your plan administrator before using FSA or HSA funds. UHURU does not guarantee that any specific product qualifies under your plan.

You are responsible for all applicable taxes, shipping fees, and any charges imposed by your payment provider.

06 Health Disclaimer

UHURU is a wellness product, not a medical device. Our products and services are designed to support general well-being and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

The statements made about UHURU products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Nothing on our website or within our product materials should be construed as medical advice.

You are responsible for consulting with a qualified healthcare provider before using any nutrition supplements or wellness products, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or take medication.

Important safety notice: Recovery Loops cartridges should not be used by pregnant or nursing women, or by children under the age of 18, without first obtaining medical advice from a licensed healthcare professional.

07 Warranty

UHURU provides the following limited warranties from the date of original purchase:

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized modification, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims must be submitted through your UHURU account or by contacting our support team. UHURU's sole obligation under this warranty is, at our discretion, to repair, replace, or refund the defective product.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, UHURU DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

08 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UHURU and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products.

UHURU makes no guarantees regarding specific wellness outcomes. Individual results may vary based on personal health, usage patterns, and other factors outside our control.

In no event shall UHURU's total aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to UHURU in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

09 Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, product designs, software, and proprietary technology associated with UHURU and the Services are the exclusive property of UHURU or its licensors. This includes, without limitation, the UHURU name, the Recovery Loops brand, voice interaction protocols, and cartridge formulations.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or reverse-engineer any part of our products or Services without prior written consent from UHURU.

10 Governing Law & Shipping

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

UHURU units and Recovery Loops cartridges are currently shipped to US addresses only. International availability may be expanded in the future, subject to regulatory compliance and separate terms.

11 Eco Credits Program

UHURU Eco Credits (“Credits”) are loyalty rewards earned through eligible actions within the UHURU ecosystem. 1 Eco Credit = $1 value.

Earning Credits. Credits may be earned by: returning empty glass cartridges (5 Credits per return, or 7 with an active UHURU Total subscription); referring new customers who complete a first paid order (25 Credits); reaching subscription milestones (10 Credits at 6 months, 25 Credits at 12 months); and maintaining a 7-day wellness streak in the UHURU app (1 Credit per streak).

Redemption. Credits may be applied toward: concentrate purchases (minimum 5 Credits) and select accessories or replacement parts at published Credit values. Credits may not be applied toward subscription fees, subscription upgrades, or hardware purchases.

Limitations. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable between accounts. Credits expire 12 months after the date earned if unused. UHURU reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Eco Credits program with 30 days’ prior notice. Referral Credits are awarded after the referred customer’s first paid order ships. Credits may not be combined with other promotional offers unless expressly stated. Fraudulent or abusive activity may result in forfeiture of all accumulated Credits.
